  What Is Mindful Drawing?
Mindful drawing is a relaxing creative practice where simple patterns are drawn one line at a time. Many people discover they can create beautiful artwork even if they have never drawn before.
In my teaching, we often begin with the Zentangle Method, a structured approach that helps beginners relax, focus, and experience immediate success.
Supplies to Get Started
You don't need a room full of art supplies to begin. Start with what you have, or explore my recommended beginner supplies on Amazon.
You'll need:
- Sakura Micron black pen (01 or PN)
- Graphite pencil
- Zentangle® drawing tiles (or any smooth cardstock)
- Sketchbook
- Optional: blending stump
That's all you need to get started. Begin with the basics and add to your collection as your creative practice grows.
