Coming Home

by Yehudit Steinberg
Published in Traditions, edited by Rabbi Shendelman

I used to believe......

I had to run away from my roots + heritage,
to find out who I really am.

And Now, I realize that..
the journey in the desert is over.

"Coming Home" to my roots,
to receive my ancestors willingly

is the liberating foce in Accepting Myself!!!

I celebrate the joy  feel deep inside of me.

I give thanks to the miracles of life,
and the courage to stand upto say:

I am Jewish and I am Proud to Be!!!"

Creative Arts Teaching Artist Work

As a visiting teaching artist, Yehudit Steinberg offers guided creative arts experiences that integrate mindful drawing with reflection, relaxation, and personal expression.

Rooted in Jewish spiritual practice and informed by years of community leadership, her sessions are designed to be accessible to all, including those who have little or no drawing experience.

These workshops are especially well-suited for Jewish organizations, adult learning programs, senior programs and well-being groups seeking meaningful, engaging offerings that support presence, creativity, and connection.

Each session provides a structured yet gentle approach, allowing participants to slow down, explore, and create in a supportive and inclusive environment.
