Join us this October once again, for a month of mindful drawing, creativity, and community as we participate in Inktober Tangles 2026, an annual international Zentangle® challenge.

This year, we'll create our own unique mandalas - one tangle pattern at a time.

What is Inktober Tangles?

31 Days. 31 Tangles. One Creative Practice.

Inktober Tangles is an annual Zentangle® international drawing challenge that invites us to explore one Zentangle® pattern each day throughout October. It’s a simple way to build your tangle vocabulary, strengthen your drawing practice, and discover what can happen when you make a little time to create every day.

Following a daily challenge on your own can feel lonely. This year, we're creating a place to draw, connect, share, and encourage one another throughout the month. This is an example of 2025 Inktober Labyrinth we did together.

Create Your Own Inktober Labyrinth

A labyrinth is a path for active meditation and self-reflection - an invitation to slow down and journey inward.

Why a Labyrinth?For Inktober, you’ll follow the 31 official tangle prompts through Yehudit’s hand-drawn circular Huggins labyrinth. We don’t have to know what the finished journey will look like when we begin. We simply enter, one tangle at a time, and discover what unfolds along the way.

By the end of October, your 31 tangles will come together as one personal, frameable work of art.

I’m Yehudit Steinberg, M.Ed., Certified Zentangle Teacher, artist + adult educator. For more than 35 years, I’ve helped adults discover their creativity through curiosity, exploration and experimentation.

I’m here to help you discover your own creative voice—one line at a time.

I’ll give you enough structure to begin — then encourage you to follow your curiosity, make your own choices and discover the creative voice that is uniquely yours.
