We begin our journey with having you focus on your breath to immediately reduce stress and anxiety. The Sefira Meditation is similar to a chakra-style meditation, as it focuses on awareness of the 10 different Kabbalah energy centers in the body, an ancient Hebrew meditation practice.
When you begin to relax, it boosts concentration and mental clarity, which starts to calm your chatterbox mind. We spend extra time focusing on head and neck areas to release tensions. Results can increase emotional and mental clarity, as well as, increase energy, while reducing fatigue.
Once your mind and body begins to relax, we move into the grounding and centering portion of the meditation, with an inward focus that grounds you in nature deep inside Mother Earth. We conclude the meditation with a heart-opening visualization.

Until one day I finally decided to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
I was on a solo silent retreat for 5 days and my mind was just chattering away. Couldn't get it to calm down and focus on being here now! It was time to meditate and as I sat down in the meditation room at the retreat center, it was super quiet...
BUT...my mind was not wanting to cooperate at this moment.
Sometimes all you have to do is ask and you'll get answers to your problems. AND that's exactly what I did.
I started to meditate the way I always start, which is to focus on my breath and begin taking deep breaths.
After a few breathes, I began to calm down enough to ask for guidance.
And I was led through the meditation I have created for you here today.
AS AN ADDED BONUS: I felt warm fuzzy feelings that told me my heart was opening, feelings of gratitude and forgiveness started to comfort me.
Normally, I don’t write down all my meditations that take place while on my retreats.
As soon as I left meditation room, I went back to my room and wrote it all down.
Thinking others might benefit from it, too, when I returned back to San Francisco, I went to my friend Frank Truncale’s Sound Studio, @ The Black Box in Oakland Ca. and recorded this meditation that I’m offering to you for today, for just $10.

SEFIRA Kabbalah Meditation is based on the ancient system of 10 Sefira energy centers in our bodies... In Kabbalah, it is said that we are like a tree.
When our roots are firmly planted deep into Mother Earth, we become strong and can withstand big winds and hard times.
This meditation and visualization came to me in a time when I needed to strengthen my roots, so that I could begin to soar. The grounding visualization in this meditation has been very powerful for me and many others with whom I have shared it over time.
I find it great for late night, just before you fall into a deep sleep..and I've used it as well in the morning, if I wake up very restless and feel like the sky is falling. It grounds me and gives me a positive restart for the day.
